Easy
Weight Loss Strategies

We
all like an easy way out! We all want an easy solution to any problem that may
present itself. When it comes to losing weight, we all hope for an easy weight
loss solution!
Do
any of you really believe in easy weight loss? If so, you're only fooling yourself!
Don't buy into all those 'miracle weight loss products.' You'll be wasting your
money. (Come on, now! Do you really believe that some special cream rubbed on
the flabby parts of your body is capable of melting away that fat while you sit
around doing nothing, and leave behind lean and toned muscle tissue?) And, don't
think that eating nothing but cabbage soup at every meal is a common-sense approach
to weight-loss! No one could realistically live off a cabbage soup diet indefinitely!
In a
sedentary society where obesity has become such a widespread problem, the marketing
industry has lured thousands of desperate individuals into throwing away money
on numerous weight loss products that claim to create model-thin bodies with little
or no effort on the part of the obese. Wake up, America! How
did so many of us end up overweight, anyway? Genetics aside, I think that the
biggest culprits are our own individual lifestyles and choices! We sit all day,
thrive on fast food, and wonder why we're getting pudgy around the middle! (Did
you know that a Burger King Whopper with cheese, alone, has almost half the total
calories that the typical recommended diet allows all day? That's scary!) You
want an easy weight loss solution? Change the way that you live! Lifestyle
Changes That Will Lead to Weight Loss: - Get
off your derriere and put your body to work! Our bodies were made to move...not
to be idle all the time! EXERCISE is of the utmost importance in the weight-loss
game! It will not only help you lose the weight, it will also help you keep it
off!
- STAY
AWAY FROM FAST FOOD!!! If
you must eat out, try to make healthy choices. NEVER SUPERSIZE!!!
- Focus
on eating a healthy, balanced diet, using the FDA Food Pyramid as a guideline.
- Eat
smaller portions. It's often better to eat several small meals, so that you curb
your appetite throughout the day.
- At
mealtime, focus on what you are putting into your mouth. Listen to your body.
If your stomach begins to feel full, STOP EATING! Forget what your mother used
to tell you: "You must eat everything on your plate!" (NOT SO!)
- NEVER
skip a meal! Your metabolism will slow down if you do not regularly feed your
body.
- Indulge
in a special treat occasionally. You'll be less likely to lose control and binge,
if you do.

WEIGHT LOSS! Note:
