Sole F85 Treadmill

The Sole F85 is possibly the best treadmill for under $2,000. In fact, this treadmill is close to being commercial grade, although it is sold as a residential model.

Sole has a reputation for selling quality equipment. That is why all but their entry model is covered with a lifetime motor, 5-year parts and a 2-year labor warranty. The 2-year labor coverage is worth noting. There are few treadmill manufacturers at any price that provide a 2-year service warranty.

What does that suggest? Common sense would say that it is a durable machine. If it wasn't the company would go broke with the cost of repairs. I have talked to other manufacturers, and when I mentioned the 2-year service coverage on Sole, they shake their heads and wonder have they pull it off. It is simple, these machines hardly need service.

The Sole F85 treadmill is their high-end folding model. It has some impressive features, including…

• A 3.5 HP continuous duty motor – This motor will handle just about any type of user, except maybe a Sumo wrestler who is training for a marathon. This motor will run cool and quietly at even high speeds.
• 60” Long Treadbelt – The extra length is appreciated when you are running sprints or interval training. It also is a good length for taller users.
• 280 Lbs. Unit Weight – If you ever run on the Sole F85 you may tend to forget that it is a folding treadmill. The F85 is solid as a rock.

On a final note, you can find a better treadmill, but you will probably need to spend at least $1,000. However, for $2,000 this is the best value out there for a treadmill that can accommodate serious runners.
